My art career began formally in 1967 at the University of Dayton when I switched my major in my 3rd year from engineering to fine arts. Later, at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, I earned a Certificate in Painting and Printmaking in 1975. I lived in Santa Fe, NM from 1975 through 1993 where I sold work through galleries and shows, executed several murals, sketched portraits on the Plaza for 14 years, taught art at NM State Penitentiary and St John's College.

Since returning to PA in 1993, I've exhibited with the Perkiomen Valley Artists Center. My last major commission was the "Stations of the Cross" or 14 iconic oils for St Columbkill Church in Boyertown PA.

Lately, as of February 2011, I am one of 35 artists in the "stable" of studios at Goggleworks Art Center in Reading PA:
